About Us

Main Irish language organisation in Cork

Gael-Taca is the main Irish Language Organisation operating in Cork. We have a wide range of duties; between our Business Award – Gradam Uí Chuanacháin, our work with schools and local Irish groups, and our work with our members and the public in general.

We are situated in our own centre on O Sullivan’s Quay in Cork City. In this centre, there is a café, a book shop and an information centre to accomodate Irish speakers in Cork.

We are a voluntary organisation where our members are an essential part of the work that we do. You can register as a member here. For more information, please call into us in the centre or send an email to eolas@gael-taca.com.
