Main Irish language organisation in Cork
Cork's main Irish language organisation
Gael-Taca is Cork's main Irish language organisation. We have a wide range of duties, ranging from our Business Award, Gradam Uí Chuanacháin, to our work with schools and local Irish groups. We also work with our members and the public in general.
Our centre is located on Sullivan’s Quay, Cork, where you will find a café, a book shop, and an information centre about Irish-language events / resources in Cork and nationwide.
As a voluntary organisation, our members are essential to the work we do and, if you would like to join, feel free to call into our centre or email us at email@example.com.
We will be working with a lot of diverse groups in Cork,
between professional and voluntary.
We have a long standing relationship the Cork business community.
Our founder Pádraig Ó Cuanacháin's mission was to spread Gaeilge through commerce. Padraig’s legacy is still lives on today and Gradam Uí Chunacháin is our main event each year.

Situated in the heart of Cork City, we have a connection to the community around us and Gaelgóirí in Cork in general.
