Cinnín Óir Colouring Competition
Help! Goldilocks’s been framed!
What a to-do since someone one turned the Three Bears from big brown Grizzlies into polar bears in the blink of an eye! Of course, they straight away blamed Goldilocks because, I mean really, if you’ll eat someone else’s porridge, what else are you capable of?
But it can’t have been her because—look!—the same thing’s happened to her! Poor Goldilocks: turned Snow White overnight!
But if not Goldilocks, then who? Who else could have stolen all the colours? … Wait, no, it couldn’t have been … Not so soon after …
Holy moley! It was her! That cheeky witch! Just look at her stealing the colours right out from under Mammy Bear, Daddy Bear, and Baby Bear's noses while they were out walking! Oh dear, someone had better tell the Three Bears … Wait, what about Áine Ní Ghlinn? Who better to talk some sense into them as she knows a thing or two about bears and their tantrums since writing Cinnín Óir agus na Trí Bhéar (published by An Gúm).
Yes, the more I think about, the more it makes sense … Jealous, you see. Probably took one look at Laura Jane Phelan’s beautiful illustrations in the Cinnín Óir agus na Trí Bhéar picture book and she just had to have the colours in them all to herself.

Sigh. Nothing for it here at Gael-Taca then but to organise another colouring competition. (I wonder whether our friends at Glór na nGael will help us get the word out again?) A bit much, I suppose, asking the children of Ireland to save the day again after they just set things right before Christmas. Still, if it worked once, maybe it will work again: I mean, if enough children colour in pictures of Cinnín Óir and the Three Bears, surely that will break the witch’s spell?
Anyway, you know the drill by now. To enter the competition, just colour in one of these three pictures:
